You know it's frosty when...

It's now definately getting to the more wintery part of the year and I woke this morning to the cold and the frost.

The grass crunched wonderfully underfoot as I made my way to the car and unlocked the doors. I then proceeded to try every single one until I found one that opened. To make things interesting it was the back door behind the driver's seat. With my usual clambering I managed to lean into the front long enough to turn on the engine and all the heating and dig under the front passenger seat for my scraper.

I scraped all the windows and was amused and slightly annoyed to find I would have to take the scraper to the inside of the front window as well as outside. I then tried all the doors again. No luck.

So with my usual clambering I made it to the front seat where I scraped the window and waited until I could see through them enough to brave it to work.

I could fortunately open the driver's door when I got here. I was writing this watching the sun rise through the window at the far end of the room and thinking that last winter was not this cold. I base this supposition on the fact that I did not have to do the above maneuvour at all.

Here's to it being somewhat simpler tomorrow.
