Zombies For Tea
I'm starting to feel a sense of the inevitable at the moment. Something in my life has to give. It's just a question of whether it will be my health, my sanity or something else...
I'm on the beginning stretch of another two weeker on the early shift (getting up at 6 every morning) and I'm already feeling zombified. I can barely force myself up in the morning, which to someone who is a morning person is a very bad sign.
Today I woke myself from a very strange dream involving a wierd larping event in a family garden where I and the family's daughter set up a messaging service that worked on the principle that we could both turn into WereGulls to deliver the packages. Something we weren't mentioning as we tried to outcompete the competition.
Monday I created my second cthulu character ever. Set in the late 1930's I decided to create a cryptologist/budding mata hari (As in the double agent bit not the exotic dancing) as a bit of a change from the librarian (who has so much POW it hurts). We start next week and I look forward to playing someone slightly unhinged with a sanity score of 35!!
Tuesday I went to the social roleplay and games society night to work out what I would be doing and got real enthusiastic about the idea of running games in my old setting where each week would be a different race. This mostly so new players could get an idea of what they were all like. However as I had no energy to run or players this week I then got roped in my the Werewolf bunch when I said I never got to play WOD stuff due to always missing when the groups were announced. Thus I created my second character for the week, a WereLynx... Only problem is I've now got to decide which thing I am doing on a Tuesday and I am torn. DM my setting in the hopes of launching a campaign (I have one very interested party already with a second who enjoyed the taster I did) OR join the game and finally get the player fix I've been missing due to having to DM so often OR bring my warhammer and join in the battle that I can see us planning as we now have more dedicated gamers...I can be in three places at once can't I?
I do DM on a Wednesday already and have that fun fact to look forward to tonight. My third option being play and see if I can get a group together for the other setting on another night. This however leaves me with the 'fun' prospect of using 4 of my 5 weekday evenings and with each one being until 10:30ish I can't see me getting my full nights sleep until I change job either.
At least one good thing right now is that I have finished my first draft of project 20 for the Herscher Project. Now to the editing.
