Ok so the age old warning about wishes is particularly apt for me today as the snow I wished for has actually arrived.

It's perfect weather for snowball fights and building snow dragons. There's just one problem.

Snow and Britain do not mix well and I had to get to work!!

I scraped two inches of snow off the car before setting off for work. Early morning not enough cars have driven to make a mark on the roads. I got through the first roundabout fine but despite slowing greatly i slid a little at the second one. A nice policeman frantically waved a "slow down" at me. I of course had already worked that out.

So a nice slow amble to work where I saw : one car with a crushed bonnet waiting on the side; A lorry jackknifed halfway up a sliproad/hill blocking the road so three police cars waved people away from it. Also only one lane of traffic on the dual carriageway.

All in all I was roughly 15 mins late and I thought taking my hiking boots in to use later was a good idea. It's still snowing and the journey home will be fun.

But hopefully I can make a snow dragon this time ;)

Right this is just a random comment.

I've been watching Cold Case on a regular basis now as one of my throw away, watch once programs. Having Sky Three I am a few series behind what is currently showing on sky one. However I have already seen two of my more favoured actresses on the show.

Summer Glau in episode 6 of season one and Amber Benson in a later episode of the same season.

Now, as this is Cold Case and they deal in murders, no surprises then that they both end up dead. At least you get plenty of flashbacks of them alive.

But for the ironic part. Amber Benson's character dies by being shot. :)

ps. On a completely different note I really like the dragon icon for mischievous. So very much me.
