Changing My Ways...

I have now finally taken the time to change my lj appearance, all so I can add a few links.

You might think this would be an easy switch. After all the s2 layout is easy to use and the layout choices do cover the one I have. However my choice of colours is slightly unique...

So I read the source code for my old layout, and fiddled with the customise function that allows you to set your own colours (anyone watching during this will have seen my page change back and forth for at least ten minutes). I finally managed to find a combination that takes what I liked from my old colour scheme but conveniently removed the things I hated.

It's still dark so those with dimmed down screens but nicer combination of colours. Also fixes the rather random change that occurred to my friends page recently without my knowledge. I think someone changed the style sheet I was using.

Anyway my nice shiny links are now to the left so anyone needing them will find them quicker.
