Numbers and Statistics
Apr. 6th, 2006 11:56 amI don't know if this is strange or if it is just that I don't go out buying DVDs very often. Those that do will probably find this rather normal. I was trying to locate the 4400 first season cheaply as my downloads failed (lovely pictures, No sound) and I felt it was worth showing my interest in it.
I entered the shop with one clear problem in my mind. Where do you place numbers in the alphabet? Personally I always thought they went afterward, before, or under N if you are talking about the series Numb3rs.
As it turns out 4400 is listed under F. ^.0 Uhm that would be the first letter should you write it out as words...
So be warned the next time you want to find a number in the alphabet be sure you know how to spell it. ;)
In other news I ran into a friends of the earth person recruiting supporters in town. I must point out being told you will take longer to decompose than your grandparents is not what I would have thought was a good selling point but each to there own. I took their details (to avoid signing up on the spot) and found their website address cheerfully stated on it.
FOE - You just have to admire the irony.
