To Do Lists and Motivation
May. 26th, 2006 08:55 amSo I have a live todo list that I carry around with me on my usb pen. Obviously I need a computer to read it but I know most of it by heart anyway.
However I have been adding new things to it recently and discovered an annoying fact. No matter how much free time I have, without motivation and much prodding I seriously can not muster the energy to do more than sit around. This seriously bugs me. Not just a little, it's a mountain full of bugs.
Why because I really want to do all the things on my list but faced with all of them and no deadlines I just stop.
Hmm so this evening I am going to see what I can get done by giving myself some deadlines for stuff that really should be done soon. Any bets on how well I will actually do?
p.s It should be noted I did finish Spoon on the night
midnightoak bet me. I just wasn't fast enough for 7.
