Sewing Injuries and Ants

So I am now 5 days and counting to going to Maelstrom and I am rushing to get everything ready. Especially since reading the laws of the land that will take affect at Shenanigans.
My favourites crimes of the event being the beer and hospitality crimes.
Beer crimes - Not having a drink within arms reach after 7. (alcoholic or non), spilling or wasting drinks and Not sharing Grog. (So glad I bought my bottle now.)
Hospitality crimes - Not dancing, drinking or singing in the Tavern, not knowing at least one joke, sea shanty or jig when asked by a marshal, not clapping for entertainers, not offering refreshments to visitors to your tent.
Oh and the fact that if you don't want to carry a weapon you have to apply and pay for a license to Not bear arms. Fee to cover protection for the duration of your stay.
So all this has me sewing like mad to finish my extra costume stuff. Extra pouches and such like. However this has involved a lot of sewing with a leather needle so I am now sporting various plasters and sewing related injuries to my hands again.
Our summer invasion was in full swing in the living room on thursday to the armaments have been dispersed. However one or two were still in the living room last night. One was trying to be a computer bug, leaping out at me when I opened K's Laptop. I brushed it off only to lose track of it.
Imagine my horror when I much later felt a tickle by my ear. I swiped the itch to feel a similar one on my chest. Looking down I was aghast to see an ant in my bra!
Ok one ant not life or death, well except for the ant, but I have an innate fear of them ever since I watched the Macgyver episode with the ants and the man disappearing into a mound of them just leaving his glasses behind. *Shudder*
I also got my Sandi Thom album today. It isn't out for general release until the 5th but I have paid for it and it is aaaaaaaaaaall mine. *cough* there are quite a few good tracks on this, the single non-withstanding. I especially like "when horsepower meant what it said" and "what if I'm right".
