Today is a good day to invade...

Morning all. For the first time since starting my new job I'm up at 6 and I'm mostly dead to the world. This is due in no small part to the fact that both Friday and Saturday I was up until 1 am. Friday being roleplay evening and Saturday being a wedding reception.
I gleaned two valuable pieces of information from the wedding reception.
1. Trying to make things last minute as a wedding present is great if a bit insane. I was still sewing up until 30 mins before we had to leave. Fortunately I can get ready quickly and apparently (according to various guests) look real nice.
2. Having no food in the fridge or freezer (as they need defrosting) is no fun as I get to be a very grouchy girl on an empty stomach. The fridge only took an hour to fully defrost however with the hairdryer at hand.
K and I went to Beeston Castle on Sunday despite the awful weather, having a pub lunch that could have fed 4 people and a small frog with no problem. We were so stuffed that we didn't have dinner.
The view from Beeston was cloudy and I was sporting my best hedgehog look after a few minutes in the rain. If I remember I'll add a picture for you all later so you can see what I mean.
