Random Thoughts on a Thursday Evening

shazrashaSo I had a fairly relaxed day yet again at work. I've been having the strange thought that I either don't have a lot to do or I'm overachieving. Personally I go with number one, but I'm not complaining...much.
I went to my usual slimming world thinking that I really didn't care if I lost or not as I still fit im my jeans. I also need to go suit trouser shopping again as I can't keep taking in my previous pair.
Having discovered that I had lost yet another 3 1/2 lbs (I went up 2 last week) I went shopping. It's rather interesting to realise that you're possibly a little obsessed with certain things, but nice to know I can tell my brain no. I picked up a tin with coffee thinking "I can drink the coffee and put tea in the tin...doesn't matter that it's got coffee written on it..." I also stared at the doctor who merchandise from where I stood at the checkout, amused that despite my brain going "it's nasty plastic tat," the main part of my brain was bouncing like a hyperactive child and going "I wants it, I wants it!" about the sonic screwdriver.

I said "But it's prettier..."
"OH!" she said. "I didn't realise it was nicer plastic tat."
