I've broken my car yet again

It's rather disconcerting to watch a dial that should never move to the right slowly but steadily move into the red.

My car has slowly been roaring a little more than usual. I thought, in my ignorance that it might have been the filter that needed changing. I find it strange that no matter what breaks on my car it always seems to roar.

When I stopped my car at the house, steam rose from the bonnet. It took me two trips with a full jug to get top the water up again.

So my task for today is calling the garage and getting someone to tow it there. I don't really relish driving it in small spurts and topping it up as I go along.

Fortunately for me my brother, in a fit of surprising helpfulness, has opted to be my chauffeur.

I totally understand about cars doing that! We have been lucky with our cars even though they give out from time to time! I hate waiting for the car to get fixed!!

Well the amusing part for me was that I was waiting for the garage to call me anyway for the fact that I needed a lock replacing in my door. They were just waiting for the part.

I'll be taking it in on Tuesday next week so *fingers crossed* it should be fixed in time for my camping trip that weekend.

I hope it works out! Darn suppliers! They always are the hold up it seems!
