Preparing For Winter

As my shiny red demon chariot has been having frosty problems this week I decided it was time to stock up on winter essentials.
So K and I made a trip to Halfords. In the spirit of things and taking advantage of the recent weather Halfords had a huge stand just inside the door with all you could think of using.
There was de-icer in spray can and spray bottle format. Pre-icer to put on the night before and hope it kept the ice off. Demisting sponges and scrapers and squeegees! To top this all off they even had several types of screen wash and, the thing that amused us most, they came in different fragrances. Apple fresh, Lemon and so forth. !?!? Surely it's not really worth it? You can't smell the screenwash what with it being on the outside of the car.
So having stocked up I left Halfords with the only item I deemed necessary: Lock De-icer. After all a good scraper/ squeegee is all you need once you can get into the car...
Teas so far: Two lovely cups.
