Trick or Treat and Roaring Demons
Nov. 1st, 2005 08:20 amTrick or treaters are a hazard on Halloween and for those of us not prepared it can be a headache as you suddenly realise you don't have any sweets you want to give them.
Those who know me well know I will not part with my Daim for nothing. Especially if I am saving them for christmas.
So they come to the door and what can I offer? K's pepparkakor (swedish ginger bread). The look on their faces when I presented them with the tin was priceless. It was kind of a what on earth! It isn't sweets but as she is giving us something we can't really refuse so no trick damn.
They were too old in my opinion to really be trick or treating especially as they made no effort with their costumes. Just a scream mask. :P
